Womxn Got Loud! International Women's Day 2020

Wow! What a show we had!

On March 8th, Project LaFemme celebrated International Women’s Day with our 3rd annual Womxn Get Loud show at Stages Theatre in Fullerton. You may have noticed that there was a slight name change this year, we chose to make this adjustment as the Project LaFemme community encompasses a wide variety of people and we are here to support art and stories of all kinds. In addition to the wonderful art, we collected over $500 in donations, all of it benefitting Laura’s House. For more information on this incredible non-profit organization, please visit their website at https://www.laurashouse.org.

This year, we had stand-up comedy, heartfelt monologues & poems, music, visual art, and even, gasp, men.

Shaman Isabella Stoloff kicked off the show with a beautiful blessing.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who performed and worked on the show (in particular Production Manager Jenelle Huck, and Board Operator Barney Evans) and a special shoutout to Patty and Amanda at Stages Theatre for their generosity in sharing their wonderful theatre space with us yet again and for all of their support!
